NOW FEATURING CUBAN ARTISTS

Cuban Artistis

INTRODUCTION

The artists in Cuba are an elite group. Since many left during the late 1980s, the Ministry of Culture has encouraged artists to show and sell abroad.  Unfortunately at the present, the artists themselves are now severely restricted from traveling outside of Cuba.  However, their art is not.  Americans have a unique opportunity to glimpse a hidden world through the eyes of artists on the brink of contemporary modern art.  Cuba’s art schools are notably distinguished as providing well educated and talented artists.  Cuban artists produce powerful, attention-commanding pieces of work that are already on the way to becoming part of impressive and collected series.

Artonuats presents works by approximately 5 artists living on the island today and provides a window through which Americans can view art created in a society that is closed to most of them.

Artonauts was established with the purpose of supporting primarily emergent international artists with an ability to share their artwork and their visions with new market, and to provide a means by which international artists of unquestionable talent are able to expand and evolve by breaking barriers. Multiculturalism and attention to diverse media are quintessential elements in the work exhibited at and by the artists represented by Artonauts.

The gallery is also an open space for freedom of the art forms and it’s concept. Fundraising for an art exchange program between artists of an international base are able to visit and exchange ideas, knowledge and experiences with other artists is one of the future goals.

Art promotion is and will be the main focus of Artonauts, where the public, art and cultural exchanges share in the appreciation of artistic talent and are able to reach a common ground.

Along with providing outstanding service and upholding our values of unwavering quality:
